I don’t believe in theses pans that I paid a good price on!!

Original review Apr 30, 2026

These pans are worse than the old pans I got before. I bought them from a commercial on TV, and they have not done anything like what they showed. I'm constantly trying to cook with them, but they keep sticking so bad that everything that goes in sticks.

User's recommendation: Offer them $10 for the whole set that’s about what they’re worth

Non stick …?????

I agree with other comments. My Hexclad large everything pan is terrible.

EVERYTHING STICKS, plus it is discolored and looks like it has permanent stains. I seem to have to use more oil rather than none. The hype was all a lie.

My original Ninja pans are far superior. What a waste of money to buy the Hexclad brand.

User's recommendation: Don’t buy Hexclad

HexClad - Terrible frying pan set

I am so unhappy with this set. I have tried to return these numerous times, and I was one week after the 30-day return window and would not let me return.

They have AI reach out to me asking for picks, then they send me videos on how to season my pans. I am stuck seasoning my pans weekly, and there are still the same issues with pans sticking. I don’t even enjoy cooking anymore.

I never put them in the dishwasher; I spend too much time washing these, and I don’t want them. Please let me return them for a full refund.

Loss:
$442
Cons:
  • Everything sticks they dont cook evenly

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Don’t buy they are horrible

Hi Gina, We're sorry to hear you're having issues with your cookware and the experience you had with our support. Based on the photo you sent, some build-up and staining is present in the pan.

However they are easily removable with the right tools. Our experts recommend using our approved cleanser, use a neutral pH cleanser, polymer based sponge, and lukewarm water. A video of this can be found here: bit.ly/HexClean After the build-up has been removed, it is very important that you re-season your cookware to reactivate its non-stick qualities. You can re-season your cookware by following these steps here: bit.ly/HexSeasoning It is crucial that this process be repeated 2 to 3 times before cooking for best results.

If you're experiencing difficulties with eggs or omelets, adjusting the heat to low to medium and using a bit more oil or butter may help.

Just replace the whole set for her

Guest

If you decide to buy another, avoid Scanpan (made in Denmark) because they are very high maintenance and don't last longer than 2 years as most of them have chipped already. The company is good with replacing them though as they come with lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Trying All Clad anodized aluminum non stick.

False Advertising As Non-stick.

AI Highlights
  • -Bought 6 HEX CLAD pots for the non-stick claim.
  • -The pots felt solid and durable.
  • -After first use they stick and burn, even on low heat.

I bought a set of 6 hex clad pots because it felt solid and durable; but I bought mainly because it is advertised as non-stick. After the first time use, the pots stick and burn each time, even on low heat. Disappointing!

Pros:
  • Solid durable pots
Cons:
  • Not non-stick

Preferred solution: Nothing. Please remove the "non-stick" label from the item description.

User's recommendation: Buy it if you are looking for heavy duty pots; but don't accept the lie that it's non-stick. If you are looking for non-stick please don't buy

  • Pans are overpriced.

  • Pans stick even after seasoning; cheaper knockoffs perform better.
HexClad - Warranty
Original review updated Nov 02, 2025

There pans are way too over priced for their performance and results. Ive purchased pans for a fraction of the price that lhave lasted a lot longer, and done a much better job.

I paid nearly $700 for six pots and pans as a Christmas gift to myself last year. Ive only had this set for one year and the pans are sticking all the time, whether it's to sauté vegetables or fry chicken. Especially sticks when I make eggs or French toast.

I seasoned all the pots and pans per the instructions. I have some knock off brands of hex clad that do a much better job and our fraction of the price.

Sam experience for me - I had a pan and used it exactly as I was supposed to, but after a few months ,it ended up that most things would stick. I contacted the coapny and basically got the same response you did (makes me wonder if I was communicating with an AI bot) .

EVENTUALLY (after I told them I gave them a one-star review on Amazon), they offered me a replacement, which again had same problems.

Hexclad really did not act like a company eager to remedy problems and make customers happy the way any other premium seller (think Nordstrom's or REI) would -- Some people have great luck with their products I guess, but they do little to help those who have problems. And PS -- The one-star review I posted on Amazon 9 months ago now has been flagged as helpful by 830+ people -- I think people have been warned, though I hope Hexclad gets it that they could be earning great reviews if they provided good customer service.

Hi! We’re sorry to hear about the trouble you're facing with your HexClad cookware while cooking eggs, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused We understand that you have already followed the seasoning instructions and still experiencing sticking.

If you need guidance on how to season your pan, you can find helpful tips on our website at bit.ly/HexSeasonPage Additionally, sticking can often occur when cooking at excessively high temperatures. Our pans are engineered to conduct heat very efficiently, requiring lower heat settings for optimal results compared to other cookware. I recommend reducing the heat on your stovetop dial to the lowest setting especially for fat rich foods like eggs and giving that a try to see if it improves the situation. Please feel free to try these suggestions.

I have 2 pans, they are horrible

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Heat can't be increased; pans aren't nonstick.
  • Searing sticks; results in a sticky mess.
  • Regrets buying two; returned one; new one is as bad.

I cannot turn the heat up at all on these pans. They are not nonstick!

Don't even try to sear anything or you will have a sticky mess! I totally regret buying 2 of these.

I actually made the company send me a new one and returned one of them, and the new one is just as bad as the old one! It's a poor choice to pay this much for these!

Loss:

Cons:
  • Cannot sear anything
  • Must use oil or butter
  • Not non stick

Explain my experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • I had major sticking issues.
  • Re-seasoning the pan per the website helped.
  • Do not soak pans in soapy water; after cooking, water is okay, but not soap.

I was having major issues with sticking. I re-seasoned the pan like their website said to do and it helped.

But here is the BIG thing: do not soak the pans in soapy water. After cooking, its okay to put water in the pan, but not soap.

When its time to wash, wash it and rinse right away. I cant say they are perfect, but they are better.

Pros:
  • Sturdy
  • Nice looking
Cons:
  • Seem to stick

Preferred solution: Directions on how to fix the sticking issue

User's recommendation: Don’t soak in soapy water

  • They followed instructions for both pans and prepared them.
  • Both pans stuck; refunds requested and they'll return them; company did not respond.

I followed instructions on both pans, one was purchased new and replacement to prepare pans before using them. Both had this same issue and requested refund and would send both pans back to them.

They wouldn't respond back or resolve this issue with sticking pans. Really disappointed and feel that this should be a classaction case.
