Verified ReviewerQuality is terrible
- Rating 5/10; not as non-stick as claimed.
- Not metal-utensil friendly; warranty replaced pans for scratches and rust.
- Warranty service was helpful.
We purchased some hexclad pans in 2023 - a full set of pans. I would rate them a 5/10.
We followed all their instructions for initial preparation to use, however they are not anywhere near to non-stick as they claim. They also are not metal-utensil friendly, as we have had to replace two on warranty when using a metal utensil - the surface scratches and then rusts very quickly.
I would not recommend these pans to anyone, especially for the cost they demand.
Warranty customer service was helpful and easy to use - this is the reason for a 3 star and not lower.
- Customer service is good
- Longevity
- Quality

Verified ReviewerBest pans ever!
- HexClad pans have three years of heavy use.
- They cook eggs and pancakes, wipe clean after burning, and look like new; best pans ever.
I have owned my HexClad pans for about three years, and like Hell's Kitchen, I have put them through *** I heat them up, dump in butter or olive oil, and cook. I use some nylon spatulas and some metal.
I stir with a metal whisk or fork. I make eggs one time, pancakes another. I can burn things to a crisp and they wipe clean in seconds. I clean them well with Bar Keepers Friend if any sticky oil is on there and use a stainless steel wash rag.
I also use Dawn Powerwash.
They look like new and cook like new. Best pans ever!
- Look great
- Clean easily
- Cooks consistently
- Pancakes stick

Glad it resolved the issue.

Verified ReviewerResolved: Tired of bad reviews for the best pans on the market
- A chef with 30 years says these are the best pans when used properly.
- Each pan needs a drop of fat to work.
- They come with a full warranty.
Nothing I love these pans.
Stop slamming these pans because you have zero clue how to use them properly. I've been a chef for 30 years; these are the best pans if you're not stupid.
Every single pan requires a drop of fat. Once you use a drop, they are fine. Yeah, your argument will be, 'But stone pans don't need any fat at all.' Well, sure, but they simply do not last.
If you can season your pan correctly and use basic cooking skills, these are great. I'm just so tired of *** saying these pans are bad; they are not and come with a full warranty.
User's recommendation: Buy these pans read instructions follw them and enjoy how well these are madce

Verified ReviewerCancelled order without permission
- Order had an exclusive discount; it was canceled and discounts can't be reapplied.
- Customer service unresponsive; no callbacks or live assistance.
Placed an order through shop with an exclusive discount/promo applied, had the ordered cancelled and cant reapply the discounts. Now trying to reach customer service to resolve issue and no one will call back or pickup to assist with the problem. Want me to pay full price instead of honoring deals apparently, otherwise I have no idea what the issue is as no one will speak with me or call back.

I have Hexclad, and I know why many people are having trouble with their Hexclad starting to stick.
- Wash, dry, oil, heat, then wipe.
- Oil and the surface create non-stick; it won’t rust.
- Stable at high heat; also good for camping.
When I purchased my Hexclad pots and pans and Costco. I listened very carefully.
First thing I learned is that you must wash thoroughly the pots and pans, then dry them well. Then you are to put a small amount of oil in each pot or pan, spread it all around the surface of the pot or pan. Then you are to heat it on medium for a given time. The second time I heard the pitch the person selling the product had been with the company, selling the items longer than the first person I listened to, and it made sense to me.
I have been a lifetime user of cast iron cookware. I was drawn to Hexclad because it doesn't rust like cast iron but has all the other properties that I love. The second seller said that the time for heating stated previously isn't actually long enough. The post and pans really need to be heated for 10 to 15 minutes with the oil in them.
When the time is up and the pan has cooled enough to handle you are to wipe it out so that any oil residue is gone. The oil and the surface material make these pans non-stick. It works the same way as with cast iron. This is where I think people get confused or don't understand.
When the pots or pans start to get sticky, how long that takes depends on how often you use the items on warmer heat, how much detergent you use when you clean them after use, what type of detergent you use. Ones that are super grease cleaners may need this next step more often than ones that are just normal grease cutters. As I stated before when the pot or pan begins to feel sticky as you wash it, or when foods start to stick, clean the item like you did the first time you used them. Clean thoroughly, dry, put the item on medium heat, put some oil in the pan, spread it around, let it heat for 10 minutes, wipe it out.
Now you have made it non-stick again. It works the same way with cast iron. Once and done is not how it works. I love the Hexclad because unlike my cast iron it doesn't not rust, leave rust stains on my counters, look dirty.
I can use it in the oven with high heat, I can take it camping and put it outside the direct fire and cook easily. I can most often use it and not have to wash it, I can just wipe all the stuff out of the pan.
I have had mine for approximately 6 months.
We cook everyday, mostly from scratch, my young grandchildren use these pots and pans. They know when to tell me that something started to stick to something, and I help them take care of the issue.
User's recommendation: When you think about purchasing these products, know that occasionally you will need to season them more than once over their lifetime. This is not magic kitchenware, there are things you will need to do off and on.

All nonstick pans needs to be seasoned or conditioned to last.
exactly thank you
Even the very best pans need good care - it's a shame that most consumers don't read care instructions and were never taught to care for important kitchen items. They think they should just be able to use a pan and not care/clean it properly, even when the manufacturer provides instructions
I have seasoned all my pans, I know how to use them. Everything sticks the coating is coming off, I can't imagine putting these into a hot oven like they also say you can do.
The problem is they are not what they were advertised to be. Gordon Ramsey should be ashamed of himself for being their spokesman.
Where did you get this info from? As a PhD materials scientist I highlt doubt this
Eggs always stick, they don't claim to be non stick, ( I thought) is a cross between a cast iron and stainless steel. Is what I was lead to believe. I've had mine about 6 yrs now.
And I paid over $500 f9r my set 6 yrs ago
Hi Scott, We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry to hear you are having sticking issues with your cookware after using it for a month. Since HexClad pans are made from a patented hybrid technology and contain stainless steel, temporary staining or accumulation of build-up may occur.
Over the years we have found that these issues are often the result of using very high temperatures while cooking. However, there is no reason to be alarmed. The great thing about our cookware is that build-up and staining are easily removable with the right tools. Our experts recommend using our approved cleanser, neutral pH cleanser, polymer based sponge, and lukewarm water.
A video of this can be found here: bit.ly/HexClean After deep cleaning, make sure to re-season your pan to reactivate its non stick. It is important to remember that our pans perform best on low to medium heat. The use of high heat during cooking will cause burnt oil residue and unsightly build-up and will interfere with the nonstick capabilities of our cookware. With that, we recommend to turn the heat all the way down for most cooking especially with eggs and low fat food.

No your pans have never been non stick! From day 1! They aren't dirty!
Agreed! My wok is spotless and I only use it on lower heat settings but I am constantly needing to reseason it as EVERYTHING sticks to the pan!
It’s good for boiling water; that’s about it. Don’t waste your money; Bobby Flay pans are far superior and cost much less.
